FSDaily is a community driven site. Without submissions from the community there is no news for the FSDaily community. When you read a great free software related article you can share it with the rest of the free software community by submitting it to FSDaily yourself. An easy way to do this is using FSDaily Bookmarklets.

As some of you already know, I am the main developer for Drigg. I donated probably more than 1000 hours of my life to the Drigg project, because I believed in it. After reviewing existing CMSs out there, I believe that Drigg is the best system available today for people who want to create Digg-like sites (but, in fact, when people deploy Drigg they get fully functional Drupal sites…!).

Dvorak recently claimed that the Free Software Foundation spearheads the non-commercial use group that believes "nobody should ever make any money selling or using software." Boy, did he ever miss the boat. But the fact is that some people in the community seem to believe exactly that.

Pligg, which is an open source attempt at a Digg-like social networking voting site application is being updated this week for some serious security vulnerabilities.

If you are registered member of FSDaily and are logged in, you will see a new option next to "My account"... that's right - you now have your very own FSDaily blog account. If you have something free software related to tell the community go ahead and post it.

We have just finished the cross-over from our old site which ran on Pligg to our new site which runs on Drupal + some of our own custom modules.
