KDE4 - huge step backwards
I couldn't agree more.
Everything is harder in KDE4, not easier. Things have been removed from the repositories that should have been left alone. Functionality has been deliberately reduced for various applications.
An unhealthy obsession with eye-candy seems to be the entire rationale for the "developers".
They took leave of their senses when the greatest file manager, Konqueror, was deliberately disabled into being a "web browser" so the half-baked Dolphin could be promoted in its place.
KDE has been completely vandalised.
