The project will realize the intention of The Free Software Foundation to port the gNewSense distribution (http://www.gnewsense.org/static/homepage/ ) on the Yeelong laptop (http://www.lemote.com/english/yeeloong.html ) manufactured by Lemote Tech (http://www.lemote.com/ ).

Since some months we have Lemote Yeeloong, the first fully free software laptop but what about gNewSense, our fully free software favourite distribution?

Add gNewSense as an answer and vote for loading gNewSense on lenovo as the default os.

gNewSense 2.3 is derived from Ubuntu Hardy Heron (8.04) and has a comprehensive list of software pre-installed for your enjoyment. I chose GnewSense as it proudly contains 100% free software.

Less than a week after the release of Ubuntu 8.04 LTS "Hardy Heron", the Free Software Foundation has gone ahead and released version 2.0 (named DeltaH) of gNewSense. For those not familiar with gNewSense, this is one of the few distributions certified by the Free Software Foundation as being a truly free Linux distribution...Here are a few screenshots from this latest release.
