Wednesday, Microsoft said Hyper-V beta for Windows Server 2008 is feature complete. Included in the list of operating systems supported are Windows Server 2003 SP2, Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP1, Windows Vista SP1 (x86), and Windows XP SP3 (x86).

At the time when GNU/Linux was in its infancy and slowly growing, Microsoft intelligently and silently crept into our home computers. They launched consecutive series of successful Windows Operating Systems, sidelining other operating systems available at that time, and took over all market share.

One of the handiest tools you'll ever have on Linux (and other *nix systems) is rsync. As the name implies, rsync is used to sync files on remote and local machines. You can use rsync to copy files to remote systems and back again, or to make backups to locally mounted hard drives.

The ACCC is decommissioning Novell. NOVELL relies heavily on its legacy systems (for profit and network effect), so in order for a boycott of Novell to be effective, more stories like this one will be required.

The keyword is "Reality". Unfortunately, there is not a lot of reality or even any facts behind Boycott Novell's articles, which seem to come several times daily. Let me explain:
