A while back I looked at the Christian Edition of Ubuntu. This time around I was pleased to find that there was a Muslim edition available. So I gave it a download and thought I'd add it to our collection of Linux distribution reviews.

Ultimate Edition, sometimes called Ubuntu Ultimate Edition, is a modified version of Ubuntu with a new theme and tons and tons of applications. To make room for all this stuff, Ultimate Edition is distributed on a DVD, rather than a CD. That said, at only 1.3GB, Ultimate Edition is one of the smalled DVD distros.
Recently there have been several posts on different blogs about changing the name of Ubuntu and it's derivatives Kubuntu, Xubuntu and Edubuntu to things like Ubuntu GNOME Edition, Ubuntu KDE Edition, Ubuntu XFCE Edition and Ubuntu Educational Edition.
