Yes, I think that Ubuntu is conceived
Yes, I think that Ubuntu is conceived to replace Windows Vista. Because other distros, like Debian or Gentoo, are only for a few people, while Ubuntu is simply, easy to use and some people can easily replace Windows now. I'm a Gentoo user and I don't like Ubuntu, to tell the truth, but I hope that Linux will become a real alternative to Windows for some users and Ubuntu is, of course, this alternative.
