With the recent news of beta releases from Fedora and Ubuntu, I decided to see how far the graphics support has come. So, I downloaded live ISO images of Fedora 11 Beta and Ubuntu 9.04 "Jaunty Jackalope" Beta and created bootable USB images with FUSBi.

Elastix 1.5 release
Elastix version 1.5 is now available for download in its 32-bit and 64-bit ISO versions. This release took a bit longer than normal because it has some major improvements. We now use DAHDI instead of Zaptel which brings better support for telephony drivers, newer kernel, among others

Windows = Antivirus = Pollution?
But, man.... I just couldn't resist the temptation of asking myself "... then how much power is spent on Windows implementing DRM protection mechanisms?". It has been disputed that it be a lot of energy to implement DRM mechanisms. It has been argued that this is not too much of an effort... that DRM in Vista is rougly a couple of LOC on the whole system. I just couldn't care less about it..
