Tinycore Linux and "On Demand" Computing

http://blog.ibeentoubuntu.com

Tinycore is ... tiny: it's 10MB, which puts it right at the bottom of the "small Linux" distros. It's also very core. There are no apps. It boots to a minimal desktop (WM, built for Tinycore) with a small dock (Wbar), and nothing else.

Gedit: No more text-based editor for you

http://www.ghacks.net

At some point, nearly unnoticed, Midori 0.2.4 slipped through to repositories everywhere. I know what you're thinking, "Who cares about a 6 week old partial release? Lucid Lynx comes out in less than two days!" Well, I think Midori ought to find a home on your new install.
