Clearly, the more I invest in Windows today, the more I will re-invest in the future. Even if one ends up buying Windows, he’d soon have had to pay for an MS-Office licence.

This kind of Sugar is actually *good* for kids… Put an OLPC in your pocket with Sugar on a Stick.
A good friend of mine purchased an OLPC when they were first released. He wasn’t impressed with it, but I can’t say the same… Sugar on a Stick runs great on my old Eee PC 900, and is a lot more intuitive than you’d think, even for a grup!

The other side of the evangelism coin
The other day I wrote an article about the right and wrong ways to bring a user to the Linux world. I stand by my position there, namely that as an IT professional, even if someone’s not ready to embrace Linux as their desktop OS of choice, I still will recommend it down the road… but not until someone is truly ready to take that plunge.

Review: GNOME Shell In Ubuntu 9.04
First of all, I don't run Compiz because I see it as no more than a resource-wasting annoyance. Sure, it looks cool, but it doesn't help me with productivity in any way.
