Lyx – Easy LaTex without Spell Check

I am a vocal WYSIWYG hater. It is a deeply flawed paradigm and a UI dead end as far as I’m concerned. WYSIWYG will always be quirky, annoying and frustrating by design. This is why I use LaTex. Of course some people just don’t like to learn, and this is why we have Lyx.

Debian Lenny goes to 5.0.4, and so do I

When Debian issues a point release, as it just did with the current Stable distribution Lenny going from 5.0.3 to 5.0.4, it's no big deal. They happen. But you don't need to throw out your Lenny install CDs or do any kind of reinstallation.

Linux software RAID guide

I personnally never had problems with software raid under Linux while i've seen expensive hardware RAID card failing and corrupting arrays. It's a little slower that hardware RAID but it remove a possible point of failure in a system and again, it's free.
