How to enable/disable Ctrl+Alt+Backspace in Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic)
Ctrl+Alt+Backspace (i.e. the shortcut which was used to restart the X server) has to be enabled in a different way with respect to previous releases of Ubuntu.
This is due to the fact that “DontZap” is no longer an option in the X server and has become an option in XKB instead.

Linux is fun, in my opinion, and I have been using it as my sole operating system since 2001. Most major Linux distributions are accompanied by well-stocked software repositories so I don't need to look very far to find a solution for any given task. 'Gnome Gmail' Allows Gmail To Be Selected As The Default Mail Application for Gnome
There is now a script called Gnome Gmail that comes as .deb for Ubuntu and .rpm for Fedora and Red Hat which adds support for Gmail to the Linux Gnome Desktop. Unlike the solution above, Gnome Gmail supports "To:", "Subject:", "body", "CC:", and "BCC: fields.

Reset CISCO router to factory defaults
CAUTION: This procedure will erase all your router's configuration.
To reset your CISCO router password, you need to access the ROM Monitor mode. To access the ROM Monitor mode, start your minicom and reboot your CISCO router. Upon booting send the CTR+BREAK sequence by pressing CTRL-A F on your keyboard.
