I’ve been reading a lot of articles this weekend. I stumbled upon one called “Do Open Source Licenses Have a Purpose?” which is to be honest a rhetorical question. Ken Hess on Daniweb actually suggests we should throw away our 64 different license CHOICES and just give away our code public domain.

Avidemux Version 2.5.1 Was Released - Fixes A Lot of Bugs

PCLinuxOS LXDE (PCLXDE) 2009 Review

Fortunately, the PCLOS community has come out with a new flavor based on the LXDE desktop, so I can stop worrying about a forced KDE 4 upgrade. I opted for the LXDE install. I’d never tried it, much less heard of it, but the screenshots looked nice enough.

I must say: it is about time! Silverlight 3.0 for Windows has been released last month. Although I really admire the work of Miguel and his team, Linux is still the poor child when it comes to Silverlight support.
