Windows Vista was hit by significantly fewer publicly disclosed security flaws in its first year than Windows XP and open source rivals in their first years, according to a report from Microsoft.

You'll cry, you'll laugh... but only out of exasperation. This is a talkback on znet by some fool who is completely clueless. Obviously, the responding comments are funny... but it does make you despair, a little.

In a move that makes the phrase “having your finger on the pulse of your company” have a whole new meaning, Microsoft has developed a program that would allow them to spy on their own employees. when I say spy, I mean it - from keystrokes to heart rate, this program will monitor all aspects of the person seated at the computer station. I find that incredibly invasive and creepy.

Linux might be free to download and install, and it might offer you freedoms that aren’t available from commercial software, but don’t let that fool you into thinking that everything about Linux is free. You might save money, but there are still hidden costs that need to be taken into account.
