The 2.8 release will again feature GUI USB stick images along with the standard ISO (std CD) and USB IMG (1G) files for both i386 and x86-64. The GUI USB stick image requires a 4G USB stick and features a basic, working X environment with firefox, fully broken out source and pkgsrc trees including the .git repo, and a larger set of pre-installed packages. We aren't quite ready to try to put a full UI on the GUI USB stick yet but we are a lot closer to being able to do so with this release.
