After selecting "edit" scroll down and you will find the original material you were writing before posting it. Make your corrections there, then scroll down and repeat the "preview comment" then "post comment" sequence, this works for articles posted as well. You can do this to anything you've posted at anytime you feel it necessary to correct mistakes.
