Choosing an XFCE-based distro is not an easy task, because not all the users are the same...As you can rarely stick the "one size fits all" label to a Linux distro, I don't even try to recommend one XFCE-enabled distro or another. I will just write down a few notes on a selective list of distributions.

Thanks for the article. I was thinking of trying Xfce after using KDE (on PCLinuxOS) and GNOME (on Ubuntu) for some time.

XFCE is nice but surely it is not meant for newbies.. Nice Article .. Xubunu is good for as it has easy install meathod like apt-get .. You can choose any distro .. But make sure their support/update to Desktop Manager is nice.. Else even a gr8 Linux Company would fail providing a nice distro ..:)
