He has one central theme that he uses to defend his free software movement; free software is not about the developers, it is about the users. If you are dedicated to providing robust software, wanting to make a lot of money is not going to be one your goals. It really boils down to what you want to accomplish as a software developer. Is your goal to defend some programming language religious ideology or provide useful computing applications to users and the software community?"
