Linux Mint 11 LXDE has been released. This is the first release, other the main edition, which uses the GNOME 2 desktop environment, of Linux Mint 11, the edition of Linux Mint based on Ubuntu.
While a full review on the main website is still in the works, here are a few screenshots from a test installation.

Mint No.1 at Distrowatch
Default Distrowatch shows Ubuntu narrowly leading Mint in the Hits Per Day Rankings.
However, when you change the setting to display the last three months results, it reveals that Mint is now leading Ubuntu by 1950 to 1876.
Congratulations, Mint!

Comes with proprietary software
E.g. the flash plugin and uses the vanilla Linux kernel, complete with many non-free binary blobs included. Too bad.
