Free software awards 2009 announced

Free Software Foundation announced the winners of the annual free software awards. The award for the Advancement of Free Software was won by John Gilmore. The award for Project of Social Benefit was won by the Internet Archive. The awards were presented by FSF president and founder Richard M. Stallman.

Digital Media: The open source Achilles heal or new cash crop?

So while I'm a big Linux fan and tell others about its benefits, if anyone ever comes to my house to watch something thats on-line they will see Windows computer on my TV. So what does this mean?
