Let's see, I am being asked to
Let's see, I am being asked to respect a company that (a) lies, (b) infringes the copyrights/patents of others while accusing the FOSS community of failing to respect theirs, and (c) engages in questionable political tactics (letters from dead people) to secure its goals.
I don't think so. They will have to get my respect the old-fashioned way - earn it.
