One of the annoying features of reading several planets, is that you end up reading entries from people you otherwise respect, who seem to have various complexes about nonsensical issues. We all saw the month in which half of Debian decided it was cool to rip on Ubuntu, and now apparently it's the new cool thing to do if you work on Fedora.

The very well made video is provided as a Flash video (Google) as well as an high quality Ogg Theora video. It shows KDE 4 from a point of view which got just to few attention the last weeks because it requires a full install or at least a well equipped machine and the Live CD. Thanks for the great video!

Up until recently there was no problem viewing video content on Fox News Video web pages. Apparently some Microsoft and Apple Only types have taken over the video content pages for Fox News. I for one would appreciate it if these large organizations would stop trying to pretend that Microsoft and Apple are the only games in town.

KDE 4 is scheduled to be released soon, and it looks like it has a lot of cool new features. Unfortunately, everything I've seen about it says that it's still going to be missing an important feature that many computer users (especially Windows converts to Linux) have come to expect — apparently because a few developers don't like or use that feature.
