Annoys me too
Yeah, this gets on my goat, too. Sometimes I can't even bother to follow these extended articles through to their eventual conclusion.
It's obviously a ploy to milk more hits for the site concerned, in many instances, but it can be an annoying time-waster for the unfortunate reader, as well..
