The new version 1.0 from OpenOffice.org Thumbnail plugin has been released. OpenOffice.org Thumbnail plugin is a plugin for KDE file managers (Dolphin and Konqueror) to preview OpenOffice.org files (Open Document Format) as Thumbnails. You do not need to install OpenOffice.org for it to work (it only uses KDE API).

KDE SC 4.4 Release Candidate 1 provides a testing base for identifying bugs in the upcoming KDE Software Compilation 4.4, with its components the KDE Plasma Workspaces, the Applications powered by KDE, and the KDE Development Platform.
Read more »ClanBomber arcade game lives on as Granatier
If you played ClanBomber, you may have noticed that it is no longer maintained. Granatier is a ClanBomber clone which in turn is a Bomberman clone. Currently Granatier implements everything from Clanbomber, except the AI. The default ClanBomber maps are also included. Granatier will be released on February 9 as part of KDE Software Compilation 4.4
