I am now running a full KDE4 session, from a svn checkout from yesterday. That's 10+ days after the tagging of beta3, and at the current pace of bugfixing, this means a lot of improvements.

Ubuntu 7.10rc1 - Fixing Compiz (Related Ati cards, but some Nv stuff)

Linux Not Ready for the Desktop? Really?

Please don't tell that to any of the people who last year logged in 40,000 times to the 28 Linux computers at our small town library and community center in Takoma Park, Maryland. These people are using a Linux solution called Userful, which puts up with robust use day in and day out.
