New York has become the latest U.S. state to ponder whether to use open standards for government document formats, though the move is not necessarily good news for proponents of the ISO standard ODF (Open Document Format).

ok in one side we have Microsoft
ok in one side we have Microsoft lobbying with state politicians and in the other side we have Microsoft making dials with traitor company's looking for their own benefit ignoring they are using a product build from a community of thinkers and visionaries. we should do something... I know the Free Culture guys, the FSF and us at Binary Freedom has been talking about this all day but we really need to come up with something to counter attack this microsoft lobbying.
