NVidia?
On the one hand that sounds good. These codecs could probably also be used by other media players...
On the other hand, NVidia doesn't make free Software drivers and they usually don't publish their specifications. RMS calls them "NVidious". I am worried that this feature will only be available with a non-free driver, and that gains us nothing.
