Dangers of User Subjugation
The free software activists warn people about these dangers and many people refuse to learn from the warnings. This example is just like every other instance of user subjugation; the user makes requirements of a computer program and the proprietor fails to meet it. In this case, the requirement would be to get these programs running on a GNU/Linux environment. If these programs were free, the user would have the right to get the program improved to their demands.
