Yes. Originally we were going to
Yes. Originally we were going to call the magazine "The Open Voice". But before the release of issue 1 we decided (with some influence from RMS) to call it Free Software Magazine instead. However, the name was already taken by a Chinese based magazine, which, at that point, was no longer in action. Tony contacted Hong Feng the Editor of the magazine and he agreed to let us use the name seeing as he had no plans of releasing any further issues.
And now you know how we got our name.
