Suffering kernel panics? Xorg crashes that force you to restart? Do your videos look purple or green? If you get any of these symptoms and it interferes with your work, you will inevitably turn off the Nvidia driver and learn to live without Compiz.

The current Nvidia driver is a bit better than the last few releases, but it's still not so great.

I have been using the NVIDIA drivers, but every time I upgrade the kernel, the drivers break. Well, maybe not break, the version of driver is not compile for the new version of the kernel.
