I use VirtualBox to run Windows on Linux, and I do it without paying money by using the OSE (open source edition) of the software.

Closed source and malware go hand in hand

I don't use Windows on Linux at all. To my way of thinking there's no point.

I'm assuming here that "commercial software" means non-free or closed source. Users should be aware that such software could contain malicious payloads such as spyware, antifeatures or other types of malware common on the Windows platform.
