Very suspicious

It still sounds like GNOME is busy heading down the same road to ruin that KDE followed a couple of years ago.

With desktops, the last words you want to hear bandied about are, "awesome", and "evolutionary experience".

The less you see of a desktop the better

It's somewhere you pass through when you are moving from one place to another.

You don't actually want it to try doing anything too much. That's when it starts getting under your feet and becoming very annoying.

Someone once posted a script here that made you answer a riddle each time you wanted to shift from one desktop to another.

I can't think of anything more guaranteed to provoke a homicidal attack on your computer, the first time you want to do something in a hurry.

Rule number one for desktops is, KISS.
