For Ubuntu, a *lot* of time and effort goes into triaging X bugs. Mostly, this work consists of helping bug reporters get enough data to actually begin troubleshooting the problem. Sadly, a lot of bugs go uninvestigated due to lack of enough info.

Better crash reporting tool
These pieces of advice are quite nice actually. But they will never be put to good use by newbie testers themselves.
We need a better tool that does part/some of this automatically.
OK, shooting a photo of the screen is kind of hard to be done automatically, but better backtraces can be build automatically.
