I love to use Linux distro (particularly ubuntu). So I chose to learn cinelerra and I discovered that, over first impression, it's a software very easy to use. The envy of the "Windows users" is priceless.
As you can see, Cinelerra is very useful, but seems to have relatively poor video transitions. But maybe not... In my life, I have discovered that OpenSource has no limits. Ready to prepare a new recipe? Let's go!
Cinelerra, one of the only serious video editing and compositing tools available for Linux, can cause frustration for users trying to install it on Ubuntu Studio. Fortunately, after several attempts, I found a way to install it easily.
So, you want to learn the Python programming language but can’t find a concise and yet full-featured tutorial. This tutorial will attempt to teach you Python in 10 minutes. It’s probably not so much a tutorial as it is a cross between a tutorial and a cheatsheet
Free software for video is currently in sad shape. The only two widely distributed free video editing programs, Kino and Cinelerra, are nowhere near as capable as competing commercial software
I totally rate Cinelerra as the best video editing app on Linux. The feature set is powerful, the effects are plentiful and the general usage is a dream. Yes it took me a little while to get to grips with but now I say with great confidence, Video editing on Linux isn’t a myth, it isn’t false hope, it’s here.
