More users for GNU/Linux?
That would be fine with me.
More users for GNU/Solaris would be fine nice too, especially if they released the Solaris kernel under GPLv3.

OpenSolaris and its kernel
OpenSolaris and its kernel are free software licensed under the (GPL incompatible) CDDL. There is nothing immoral about OpenSolaris as far as I know.
