No one can be involved in the free software community to any extent without stumbling across conspiracy theorists. Like the mad wife in the attic, they’re an embarrassment to the community, clinging to attitudes appropriate to the days when free software was new and vulnerable, and providing an easy means for outsiders to discredit the rest of the community.

FSDaily is a community driven site. Without submissions from the community there is no news for the FSDaily community. When you read a great free software related article you can share it with the rest of the free software community by submitting it to FSDaily yourself. An easy way to do this is using FSDaily Bookmarklets.

I've been in the IT industry for over 27 years now. I first was introduced to Linux almost 12 years ago, I've really been a part of the Linux community for over nine years now. You'd think in that time things would have gotten better for women in IT in general and the Linux community in particular.
