Thank goodness. I can't wait to be rid of the Flash player.

Video support in Firefox brings us that much closer to freedom from Flash, which, by the way, is the cause of the mysterious pop-up ads which cannot be blocked by ad-block extensions.

We also need full implementation of SVG and the rest of Flash's capabilities can be handled by existing, standard web languages.

After that, we just need a good authoring tool for animating which publishes to SVG.
