This article is news about proprietary software and the speculative but real power that some software proprietors (in this case Microsoft) may or may not have over other proprietors (Epic). It doesn't do a lot to advocate against depending upon proprietary software or encourage investment into free software. The best it does is to beware the user of "Intellectual Monopolies" its link to this specific instance.
