About time!
It's about time we developed a truly Free phone architecture and stopped fooling ourselves with Android's Linux-based "mostly free" alternative.
Of course, Google could always nail their pants to the mast, and properly establish their Free Software credentials, by releasing all the Android code under the GPL, but we shouldn't hold our breathe waiting.
