When an animal gets cornered, it becomes afraid. That’s when it becomes irrationally aggressive. Microsoft has truly become an animal recently and it shows.

Come to realise the true motives for Microsoft public 'endorsement' of ODF.

If there's one thing to be said for Microsoft, it's a shrewd player. They've done in just a few years what takes some companies decades to do. They've cornered the desktop OS market. All of this success has caused some of their detractors to call them dishonest, unethical, and in some cases just downright evil. All of this has come from their efforts to make a few bucks. Well, a few billion in their case. But as of late, Microsoft has gone an extra step further in expanding and maintaining, or in some cases grabbing dominance in every market they can get into, if they aren't there already.

How quickly things change. Several months ago, Stephen Walli, a former a Microsoft manager and also a consultant/advisor to them, said that Microsoft would need to support ODF. He argued that this was inevitable. Are we beginning to see first signs of this prophecy materialising? It sure looks like it.

Old truths return; Microsoft Jack attacks messengers. Two like-minded crooks, Carl Icahn and Microsoft, continue to bully Yahoo. In the process, they are trying to rewrite an embarrassing history.

Novell happily considers itself and even describes itself as a Microsoft partner, which possibly makes it part of that self-serving channel or the Microsoft ecosystem. Just watch the recent story from China for enlightening examples

I really, really don't understand this. I understand that Microsoft has a history of aggression against open source, as Chris DiBona wrote recently on the Open Source Initiative's (OSI) license-discuss e-mail list. I compete with Microsoft and have for many years. I get that Microsoft has been bad.
