My husband is Chester Gnull and I’m Laverta Voyd, and I’m the lady to light a way for all you sweethearts out there who do fancy stuff with Linux. Me and my husband’s gonna be bringing you tech tips just about every month now….I don’t know nothing about Linux. Chester, he’s the smart one…”

Reading this article led me to
Reading this article led me to Carla's earlier article about the shocking full-page advertisement in Linux Journal for a server "that won't go down on you either". If you haven't seen the ad, no prizes for guessing what the background image was. (If you want to confirm your worst fears then there's a link to the ad in her article).
Thank you anna for reminding me to cancel my subscription to the Linux Journal. When I saw this ad, I must have been _so_ shocked I buried my memory of it!
As for Gnull and Voyd... I, for one, won't miss them one bit!
