1. Use this website to get a direct link to the video file http://www.downloadyoutubevideos.com/
2. Use VLC to play the resulting FLV file.

Thanks for that link. I did not know that service yet.

To my own surprise I could even play it with the totem-videoplayer, which is my normal videoplayer. :-)
