Letter is a Request to allow avoiding usage of proprietary software in curriculum.
To use Nasm instead of TASM, When syllabus does not say about TASM or any other software for that matter. In a college with its campus (internet) network is available only in GNU.

Update about the letter
Hi,
I got the permission from HoD to use Nasm instead of Tasm in the MMlab for IBM PC assembly programming..
I would like to thank my teachers and HOD for allowing me doing this. They fully supported about considering this change for the next semester student as the current semester lab sessions has already started teaching the lab sessions..
