Not to mention...
Not to mention that Microsoft hates Asus for another reason: They are very Linux friendly on the desktop. The Asus motherboard I bought actually comes with Linux drivers for all the hardware. Not that Ubuntu users need the CD, as all the drivers are in the Ubuntu kernel already!

I've got an Asus machine
I've got an Asus machine and the webcam doesn't work on Linux. So I don't think Asus are being _that_ friendly with Linux users

Of course, not everything they sell will have Linux drivers. A company might be friendly toward Linux or toward open-source yet not be 100% of the time. There's also the probability that the webcam is not actually made by Asus.
