Not News about Free Software

This article reports news about encouraging a greater dependency upon proprietary software - Adobe AIR and Adobe Flash.

Apparently, there is also good news in this report: Adobe is liberating the SWF specification licensing terms to allow 3rd party implementations of SWF players. If this is true, then it would be fantastic news to the Gnash team as it would be a valuable contribution to the development of the free Flash replacement.
